the BunkHouse - 1960's Summer Camp Nostalgia
Nestled among the Giant Sequoia's
BunkHouse 1960's Camp Vibe with Timeless Wet Bar
Our Property
Camp Nelson holds a long history for our family. My parents were the first couple to be married in the Camp Nelson chapel in 1965. My mom spent the summers in this nostalgic mountain community as a child and then lived here full time in high school, even riding the school bus down the hill. We are located within walking distance of the center of Camp Nelson and the historic meadow. The bunkhouse will remind you of those days of getting away from the city and spending sweet time with family.

The bunkhouse has a large spacious living room with comfortable seating and a puzzle table/work space located next to the wood burning fireplace. There is a full dining room complete with a vintage wet bar. The bar includes a sink, ice machine, mini fridge, and all barware. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a spacious counter for bar seating and serving large buffet style meals. There is outdoor seating with a table on the deck and and additional table in the yard. Cafe style lighting is strung across the deck and yard. Outdoor fire pit with seating (wood included) are just a few steps from the deck. Spend the day playing horseshoes or reading in the hammock.
